LAUREN CARDENAS is a Texas native and studio artist who focuses on print media. She is the editor and founder of PIECRUST Magazine, Co-director of Museum Blue and part of the steering committee of the St. Louis Small Press Expo and owner of Saturday Press. Cardenas holds a BA in Fine Art from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and a MFA in Visual Art from Washington University in St. Louis. Her artwork has been exhibited at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, Des Lee Gallery, Open House Galleries, Granite City Arts and Design District, Ralph Arnold Gallery in Chicago, IL and The Luminary. Lauren is currently residing in Reno, NV as the Redfield Fellow  and artist in residence at the Black Rock Press at the University of Nevada, Reno.
